970 Coolamon Scenic Drive, Coorabell
The Coolamon ridgeline is going from strength to strength. Building sites along this strip of premium real estate are highly sought after. 970 Coolamon Scenic (pictured) is now listed by Nicolette Van Wijngaarden from Unique Estates. The 3 bed, 2 bath contemporary home is an EOI but you would need to have an interest above $4M.
There is a reason why this piece of dirt is so highly valued. Firstly the views are possibly the best in the shire. It has close proximity to both Byron and Bangalow. Most of the lots offer a perfect northern aspect, which gives ideal winter sun as well as cooling summer breezes. The ridgeline to the south protects you from the gusting winter southerlies. Sounds like paradise.
Fowlers Lane, Possum Creek
There is a bit of action happening at the end of Fowlers Lane, Possum Creek – just north of Bangalow. Some Community Title developments are in process. Coorabell Ridge has been listed for a few months and most of the vacant land acreages are already sold for between $800-950,000. There is only one lot left, lower and no view for $780,000.
226 Fowlers Lane, Bangalow
The original house from this CT subdivision is now for sale separately. It’s a large 5 bed, 2 bath wooden house with pool and tennis court. It is going to auction and expecting $1.6-1.8M.
This successful Community Title subdivision on Fowlers Lane (yes, another CT on Fowlers Lane), Bangalow has a house for sale. The community boasts gardens and natural swimming holes. The house has 4 bedrooms with a self-contained studio, solar power and is on 2 acres. Cost is approx $1.3M.
Across the road from Jindabah, a new CT rural subdivision is in the works and these lots should be on the market soon. They will probably be looking for $800,000 plus.
Le Chop Business 4 Sale
This local business selling camphor laurel chopping boards is for sale. “Le Chop” does many of the local markets and a well-established retail distribution outlet. It has a $100,000 PA turnover and is WIWO with a long factory lease and over $70K in machinery and equipment. Illness if forcing a quick sale so contact us here at BPS for more info on this one as this would be a good deal for the right person.
Lot 1 Robinson Lane, Mullumbimby
Robinson Lane, off Last Bank Road, is a good location as it has northern views and close to town. This 4 bedroom house on 4 acres was built in the 80s and now needs some work. But is listed too high at $1.395M and will come down a bit and then be a good family home for someone.
Possum Creek 77 Acres
77 acres in Possum Creek will be highly sought after. This property borders Possum Creek and has multiple swimming holes. It has many potential house sites and the grounds have been already landscaped. Listed with Brett Connable of Ray White and asking $2.2M.
Bangalow Dual Title
A property in Bangalow is going to auction with Greg Price from McGrath Byron Bay. It is interesting as it has two houses and two titles. The front house is the original 3 bedroom house, renovated. The back one is a new 2 bedroom studio. Keep together or split up – your choice. Expected to be in the range of $1.1M plus.
40 Brownell Drive, Wategos Beach
This large block in Wategos (836 M2) is for sale with new luxury renovation plans already done. The site has views out to Julian Rocks but is back from the beach. The existing house is a reasonable 3 bed, 2 bath, 2-story but the site suggests a complete redevelopment. Listed by Vicky Innes from Byron Property Sales for $6.8M.
Kennedys Lane, Ewingsdale
This 5-bed property on 5 acres in Kennedy Lane Ewingsdale is back on the market. I inspected it a couple of years ago and the new owners have apparently done a lot of work on it. This is a good location and the pool and grounds have a lovely aspect to the north-west. But I am not sure it justifies its $2.3M price tag.
Anyone with an interest in land banking may be interested in a 50-acre parcel on the market in Pottsville. It is in a good location and may have development potential in the future, It includes a spacious 3 bed, 3 bath house.
Dev site in Ocean Shores
Opposite the football field on the corner of Shara Blvd and Hinterland Way is a development site. It includes a DA approval for motel and units. Looking for $1.75M plus.
Rock and Rolling Off The Tracks: Unusual Nimbin Property
This is a unique and unusual property that only a place like Nimbin can throw up. It is three seperate renovated railway carriages. The stainless railway carriages are, apparently, just the right sort. “Any older, they would be wooden. Any more modern and they’d have to have power to open the doors,” said the owner Mick Davis, a former roadie. He added that he has his own solar power system set up. “I haven’t paid a power bill in seven years.”
But Mr Davis is now packing up and hopes to find someone who will love the property just as much as he has. Yvonne Campbell, from Nimbin Hills Real Estate, is listing it.
