Mullumbimby Makes The News
Once again the so-called, “laid back hippy town of Mullum” is in the news. The Financial Review piece on June 22nd highlighted a few recent top-end sales. One of them, the $2.95 mil sale of world championship surfer Wayne Lynch to antique dealer Geoffrey Clark from The Country Trader. We were the Buyers Agent in this deal and Ruth Russel from Mullum Professionals was the listing agent. So let’s look at a few Mullum properties.
31 Queen Street. Mullumbimby
This is a former church in Mullum that is begging for a makeover. The land is almost 1500 M2 but is mixed zoning. The structure is difficult and needs lots of work but for the right person who can fix the zoning and make a mixed-use dwelling and business, it would be excellent. Hard to value but probably around $850- 900K, with James and Vanessa at Byron Bay First National.
Various Mullum suburban houses
There are a number of reasonable homes for sale in Mullum town that are getting a fairly high level of interest. All are in $800- 900K range: 22 Garden Ave, 34 Main Arm Road, 1 Hottentot, and the cheapest in mid 7s is 33 Queen st. BPS is also aware of a very attractive off-market sale in Mullum as well if you wish to contact us.
